This service best suits bikes that have seen moderate to daily use.
Also ideal for bikes that have not been used for some time and need recommissioning.
- Complete hand wash & deep clean including full drive chain degrease.
- Premium lubes, brake fluids and grease are used on our level three service and are all included in the price
- All bearings stripped, cleaned and lubricated as required – including wheel hubs, freehub bodies, headset* & bottom bracket.
- Rust and corrosion removed / treated
- Components, frame and fork inspected for damage and/or excessive wear
- Brakes adjusted and pads, rotors or rims checked for wear
- Seat post cleaned and lubricated
- Any worn parts replaced (parts not included)
- Gears checked for wear, damage and alignment, then indexed correctly
- Firmware updated where necessary
- Tyres checked and inflated correctly, tubeless sealant topped up where required

*Headset bearings that require changing but have internally routed cables or hoses passing through them may be surcharged depending on the complexity of the assembly.
General Repairs Pricelist
Puncture Repairs - £20 includes new innertube
If you have a flat tyre we will replace the innertube, refit the tyre and correctly inflate.
Should you require a slimed innertube for extra puncture protection these can be supplied for an additional £5.
Tubeless Repairs - From £20
For tubeless systems we offer a leak diagnosis, tyre repair, valve & tape replacement and sealant top up service.
Tyre fitting - £10 standard, £15 tubeless
Cable Brake Servicing - £25(Single) or £39 (Pair)
Includes a full diagnosis, clean, lubrication and part replacement as required (parts not included), followed by correct setup and adjustment.
Hydraulic Brake Servicing - £25 (Single) or £39(Pair)
Includes a full diagnosis, cleaning, bleeding, new fluid and set-up for a pair of hydraulic disc or rim brakes.
Existing pads will be de-contaminated or replaced as required.
We have bleed kits for every major hydraulic brake system.
Boxed Bike Build - From £49
If your new bike arrives in a box then we can assemble and carry out a PDI check to get you up and running.
Groupset Swap / Custom Build - From £120
We can swap all of your existing components onto a new frame and / or fit new parts also at the same time
Wheel Hub Servicing - £25 (single) or £45 (pair)
Includes full strip down, clean, lubrication and part replacement as required (parts not included), followed by correct setup.
The service covers the hubs, freehubs, quick releases, axles, bearings and all other associated parts.
Insurance Assessments - £49
We offer an accident assessment or valuation service for your bike. The fee is deductable from any work carried out and / or is usually covered by your insurance company.
Chain Waxing - £29
We offer a chain waxing service for either new chains or existing set ups. We ultrasonically clean, degrease and then apply a premium bike specific wax for £29 per chain.
Should you require a clean and degrease of the rest of the drive-chain this is also £29, or £50 for both chain and the rest of the drive-chain if done at the same time.
Tubeless Setup - From £15 per wheel
We can setup most wheels to tubeless and can provide a choice of tyres, tape, valves and sealant or we are happy to fit any parts you wish to supply yourself.
We stock a large range of sealants, valves and tyres in our shop.
Brompton Specific Repairs & Servicing
We offer specialist Brompton repairs including hinge and bushing replacement, seat post collar replacement and reaming as well as general servicing.
BOSCH E-bike Diagnostics & Updates - From £30
We are able to carry out diagnostics, software updates and service light resets on all Bosch e-bike systems as well as general servicing.
Thread Re-tapping & Facing - From £20
We have taps for all threads found on your bike (rack / mudguards mounts, bottom brackets etc).
We also have facing tools for disc brake mounts and bottom brackets.
Firmware Updates - From £25
We can carry out the necessary updates for all major electric bike systems.
Gear Indexing - £20
For gear that just need a tune-up and no replacement parts. Includes hub gears and electronic shifting.
Gear Service - £35
Includes full diagnosis and part replacement as required (parts not included), followed by correct setup and indexing.
Cover all gear components including shifters, wiring / cabling. derailleurs, chain, cassette and chainrings.
Headset Service - £35
Includes full strip down, clean, lubrication and part replacement as required (parts not included), followed by correct setup.
The service includes removal and fitting of a new headset should this be required.
If you have internally routed cables or hydraulic hoses that pass through the inside of the headset bearings then there is an additional surcharge of £70 due to the considerable amount of extra labour required.
Bottom Bracket Service - £35
The bottom bracket service includes full strip down, clean, lubrication and part replacement as required (parts not included), followed by correct setup.
We deal with and have tools for every bottom bracket type and brand.
Wheel truing - £25 (single) or £39 (pair)
We offer a wheel truing service that will get your wheels running straight again.
All wheels will be assessed first to check if they are repairable before they are trued, tensioned, and dished.
Wheels that are setup for tubeless and are presented with the tyres fitted will incur a surcharge of £15 for refitting the tyre and / or additional charges for sealant and rim tape if required.
Suspension Servicing - From £50
We carry out all repairs and servicing on forks, shocks and dropper posts. Prices start from as little as £59.
Wheel Building - From £50 per wheel
We can build or rebuild your wheels from scratch and by hand using the best professional equipment.
Your wheels will be laced, tensioned and trued both laterally and radially. The wheel will be checked for correct dishing and then spokes are checked individually and also in sections to ensure the highest quality of wheel build.
We recommend that we supply the spokes if you are not 100% sure you have the right size.
Other Repairs
We do carry out every job bike related so if you don’t see what you are after in the list, don’t worry, we will still do it. If you need a price or turnaround estimate then contact us.
Accessory Fitting - From £10
Fitting for all bike related accessories is available including mudguards, bottle cages, lights, locks etc
Supplying Your Own Parts
We are happy to fit any parts you wish to supply yourself, however we are unable to offer any guarantee or warranty on either the parts or service when we do so.
E-bike Servicing & Repairs Guidance
We are happy to carry out servicing on all factory built e-bike including Mahle, Shimano and Bosch e-bike systems.
Unfortunately our insurance provider will not allow any DIY e-bike conversion to be on our premises for ANY repair even if it is unrelated to the electric system.
Our workshop guarantee & terms and conditions
All work carried out on a single item service or Level one, two or three service is fully guaranteed for fourteen days from date of collection. Any remedial work required after fourteen days has elapsed will be chargeable and is not covered by our guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover accident damage, misuse of the bike or transportation damage.
We will always test ride a bike upon completion of any work to ensure it is operating correctly and we recommend you also ride your bike as soon as possible after collection to ensure you are satisfied also.
Puncture repairs are guaranteed for twenty-four hours only.
All parts fitted carry a twelve month warranty against manufacturing defects but not against misuse or fair wear and tear.
We always appreciate prompt collection of bikes upon completion of any work. A charge of £10 per week will be charged for storage up to four weeks from the date work was completed unless by prior arrangement. After four weeks bikes that are not collected will be donated to charity.
